Frigidaire FFFR560
This refrigerator looks like a high-end appliance however it's not as much. The counter-depth of this refrigerator allows you to get the built-in look at a cheaper cost than a custom fridge. It also does a great job of hiding the ice maker and water dispenser behind a false panel, which makes it appear more integrated than other models that display the appliances themselves. It does have some minor flaws in the design that prevent it from being as great.
The biggest problem with this Frigidaire is the fact that it's counter-depth. That means it's losing around 7 cubic feet of usable space compared to a Gallery refrigerator in the standard depth measurements. This is a significant loss particularly for an appliance that costs close to $3500.
The fridge is still able to maintain a stable temperature in its freezer and cooling compartments. It also performed well during our spill test by keeping fluids like water and other contained, even on the top shelf.
The Frigidaire is a fantastic choice for those looking for an French-door refrigerator that has a large, customizable flex drawer. It has a smudge proof stainless steel finish. Its left door opens smaller than the right, making it easier to access the controls. The flex drawer has various temperature settings, which means it can be used as a cooler, freezer, or to chill drinks or wine.
This fridge is easy to use, however it's not as intuitive as some of the other refrigerators we've test. It features an electronic panel that has a simple design and offers numerous useful features. For example, you can switch the door bins from left to right, and there is the option to activate the freezer in turbo mode to provide an instant blast of cold. It's also ENERGY STAR certified, meaning you can save money on your energy bills with this fridge. However, it lacks some convenience features, such as a temperature-controlled meat/deli bin and a light in the freezer. And its storage performance is just average.
